We worked NewSplash  to write and produce a historical information film that would document how a piece of land where the redeveloped Sargood building now sits has been utilised by both Maori and Pakeha over the last 800 years.    The film would have to show how this land moved from being a focal point for the local Iwi then being taken from them  by the Pakeha to be used for the the development of Dunedin City.    From our point of view working with Maori elders was amazing and gave us a sense of responsibility to get things right.  To give the film a dynamic we used both analogue and digital animation to create the film.
